Please tell me this is a spoof. Tories had 8 years to do this since Brexit vote and have done nothing. As for immigration, we've left the UK. It's balkanising (votes won on Gaza, not the bins as an example) . We've gone somewhere with a wonderful mono culture which we're delighted to have signed up to. We also benefit from a 20% maximum tax rate and less regulation. Our business is also theiving after the moribund UK stagnation.

Smoke and mirrors, words and lies. What the conservatives have done, and allowed to be done, to this once great country is an absolute disgrace and utterly tragic. They have plundered it's people and wasted our money on an epic scale, so much so, that councils now resort to stealth tactics, like being given the authority to fine motorists for contrived offences, just to prevent insolvency. Then there is the total failure to uphold one of their many pledges, to reduce immigration to 10s of thousands. The total opposite has occurred and it's now many hundreds of thousands and climbing. Then there is the extremely serious issue of the housing crisis. Home ownership for everyone was once one of the very best and key opportunities for working people, now not only has that disappeared but renting a place to live has become exhorbitant. This suppresses peoples ability and will to progress their lives, prevents fair wealth distribution and cripples social development. The list goes on and all we continue to get are hollow promises to put it all right and pledges that never materialise. The only conclusion to reach is what we already knew, the political classes don't care, we are just an expendable commodity to maintain their lifestyles and income streams. And buckle up people, because it's going to get much worse. The financial plunder will increase and our freedom will be increasingly diminished by all the woke BS and other social controls. UNLESS, we resist and push back. Remember, it's our money and they work for us, let's remind them of that before it's too late and the Orwellian nightmare becomes irreversible.

We sold one business post Covid and are preparing second for sale this year. We are effectively rolling up our life in the UK and taking ourselves and assets elsewhere. We see no future in the UK based on current disincentives. These come in 2 forms - tax policy and, as important, burgeoning regulation. We would have started neither business 15 years ago if we had faced today's regulatory burden. Simply too high a hurdle and at the expense of sales development.

Motorists do not unknowingly pay for biofuels. and that's just one example. I read the report and thought about it all carefully. you are all doing the same thing we have done since January 1989. except for Matt. delaying any actual adverse impact on cheap air travel. speaking of farm products that are not at all related to biofuels, a US gallon of off brand apple juice at Walmart is $8 today. a gallon of jet fuel is $2 or maybe $3, I found $2. today. now the strategy is to 'wait for e-fuels'. air travel, not cement or shipping, is the reason we could never have a refunded carbon tax or any other serious carbon mitigation for 50 years now. the problem now is that kerosene is only 9/100 as a distillate of fossil fuel and increasingly now we are bumping up against that limit globally and thus we have the US governmental IEA publishing that 'we can see Peak Demand' on the horizon, without even any at all vague date on it, while OPEC at the same time, and not just OPEC, says we need to greatly increase fossil fuel extraction and that they can 'see' that society intends to not do anything to even slow air travel. sometimes it is discussed as 'crack spreads' but what is now missing is talk of US summer motorists as well, and other talking heads instead today.... it's about diesel for heavy trucks and... air travel.but there may also be a problem of 'rising expectations' amoung the younger cohorts who increasingly realize that 'climate change' is already locked in and a Hothoue Trajectory, in the next decades, is being risked very seriously. quite seriously. is it not?
